Angelica serves as a legal assistant at James Gay Law. She helps Spanish-speaking clients over the phone and in attorney-client meetings, ensuring they are informed and prepared for the next steps in their case.

Angelica graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with two bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and International Studies. During her time at Mizzou, she took part in three organizations. Shortly after graduation, she obtained her first job in the legal field. This first legal assistant role showed her the complexities of the legal system and how to help clients during challenging times in their lives. Born and raised in Missouri, Angelica decided to move to Chicago for new opportunities. She joined the JGL team in February of 2026 and is excited to learn more about personal injury and continue helping clients.
